Hi there, my name is Mira.  My rescuers say its short for miracle but I’m much more modest than that.  They say I’m a miracle because I was first saved by a caring soul who took me in and tried to help me because I had gotten a porcupine quill in my eye that wasn’t taken out properly and it was infected.  When I needed even more help, hart was called.  They found me with both my eyes infected and caring for 8 puppies.  They said it was a miracle I was able to survive and support such beautiful pups.   I thought I was just doing my job as a Mom. 

Since I have come into foster care my eyes have gotten much better.  I guess I will never see out of the one eye but at least my other one was saved.  Also now that I am safe and able to enjoy the creature comforts in life, my true personality is coming out.  I LOVE the love!  I enjoy petting, cuddling, and getting spoiled with attention and treats.  I walk very well on a leash and get along well with lots of people and dogs.  Once I see all my pups safely to their furever homes I am looking forward to curling up with some great people in my furever home and enjoying more of this new life.
