hart relies entirely on the generosity and skills of our volunteers and can always use help in the following areas:

Foster Home volunteer

hart can only rescue as many animals as we have foster homes for. Foster home volunteers provide a temporary home and basic training/socialization experience to our rescued animals.

Fundraising Volunteer

hart is a non-profit society that engages in numerous different types of fundraising activities. We are always looking for new ideas and people to assist.

Special Events Volunteer

hart takes part in many special events that require volunteers to provide information to the public.

Rescue Volunteer

The first step to hart making a difference to an animal is performing a rescue. Rescue volunteers perform rescues in all weather and environmental conditions and transport the animal to a holding area or foster home.

Administrative Volunteer

Administrative volunteers assist with everything from database creation and management to membership coordination, to supply management and run much needed errands.

Volunteer-at-Large

These volunteers are ready to help out with just about anything that needs to be done in support of hart efforts.
